NODE Robotics has announced a partnership with SYNAOS, a specialist in intralogistics software.
The companies say the collaboration strengthens the shared commitment to seamless interoperability and efficient orchestration of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in dynamic industrial environments.
As part of an ongoing end-customer project in the automotive sector, the SYNAOS Intralogistics Management Platform (IMP) is orchestrating mobile robots from SHERPA Mobile Robotics’ F-series, which operate using NODE Robotics’ software and adhere to the VDA 5050 standard. Before deployment, the SHERPA Model F completed SYNAOS’ nine-stage VDA 5050 onboarding process, ensuring smooth and standardized integration.
The collaboration highlights the role of standardised, software-driven interoperability in enabling flexible and scalable intralogistics operations. By combining NODE Robotics’ mobile robotics software with SYNAOS’ advanced orchestration platform, companies benefit from optimized fleet coordination, seamless integration, and increased efficiency in their automated logistics processes.

“The onboarding of the SHERPA robot was just the starting point for all future onboardings of other mobile robot types that rely on NODE.move as their proprietary navigation software.
